America's Blues
America's Blues is an Award-Winning feature-length documentary that explores the tremendous impact that Blues Music has had on our society and culture. The Blues has influenced nearly every form of American Music and sadly, aside from its part in the birth of Rock and Roll, its impact often goes unrecognized. America's Blues dives into the different genres of music that have been influenced by the Blues and goes on to explore its reach into literature, art, fashion, film, and even sexuality. Blues music has bridged racial gaps and the Power of the Blues has been felt around the World. Some call The Blues a feeling rather than just a musical genre. You'll hear from Top Scholars, Blues, and Jazz Legends and even Hollywood Film Composers to tell a story of the Blues that goes beyond what you've been taught. It really is true that if Music were a Color, it would be Blue.
